Halloween Party

We organised a little get together in our community for Halloween, David had a crap time as you can see. Massive thanks to Caroline for the outfit which has been utilised several times!! xx

PS I am like 8 months pregnant - not just going through a chubby phase.

Your photos on your camera - what to do with them?

Put them on Picasa and distribute them to me of course!

I had 80 people look at my last album and I want to see those 80 people's latest pictures! I miss all my friends around the world today and it struck me I never get to see their photos.

I love other people's shots, they make me so happy, go on - create an account and send me some!

Make a pregnant girl happy!

PS Jen and Lo are excused as they both do a masterful job distributing!

Meet our daughter Barbie!

Nope, doesn't sound right, does it? But it made you read this, didn't it?

Well to our 5 year old neighbour it sounded great...

Innes: [rides up to me on her pink bike] Do you have a bike?

ME: No, I want one but with the baby coming I probably won't use it much.

Innes: [Big eyes] You're still pregnant??

ME: [I glance down to make sure my belly is still there] Yes.

Innes: What will be her name?

ME: We haven't decided yet.

Innes: [First shocked. Then trying to be helpful as clearly this mom is failing/struggling here.] What about 'Barbie'.

ME: [trying to keep all laughter muscles in check] Well that's a nice name.

Innes: Or Snow White, Cinderella, Arial (Little Mermaid), Jasmine (Aladin)...

She named all the princesses she could think of and genuinely thought these would be good suggestions. Ah the innocence and cuteness of youth.

I was like "Why is no one else around to hear this??"

I relaid this conversation to my adult neighbour and we had a right good laugh. Especially at Barbie because she pointed out that clearly I'm Innes' closest living example of Barbie (I am the only blonde woman in town. I am aware that is where the similarity ends).

Ah that made my day!
